Ramboll has been awarded a major environmental assignment in Algeria. Ramboll was chosen following an international tender launched by the Algerian Ministry of Environment regarding pollution abatement of the River Chlef. The EUR 2.7 million project, financed by the Algerian State, will start September 15 and will be completed within three years.

Ramboll delivered a steady profit before tax of DKK 145 million for the first half-year of 2010. This result was generated on the basis of an increased gross revenue and EBITA margin. The order book has increased to DKK 2.7 billion and many new landmark projects have been won. Thus, Ramboll is in a strong position despite prevailing market conditions.
